Removing the Front Door Panel

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

Remove the cover under the handle and unscrew the two retaining screws with a Torx key. Use a trim tool to remove the plastic clips from the panel and gently pull the panel away from the edges, taking care to remove it cautiously. Remove the speaker cover on the mount using a plastic tool, prying at the edges, and disconnect the connector. Remove the side cover and disconnect the electrical connector. Detach the handle cables and electrical contacts by disconnecting the connectors, being careful not to pull them. Refit the panel, starting with the connection of the electrical cables. Position the panel upwards and then push it down until it clicks into place. Reconnect the cables, connectors, and screws.
