Engine Mount Replacement Instructions

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Engine mount

The engine mount is located on the left side (when facing the front), just below the coolant reservoir, next to the timing belt cover. Unscrew the fixing pins of the mount and extract it from its seat: the damaged part is actually the rubber damper (or silent block) which can also be purchased aftermarket (follow the advice of the parts dealer when choosing the brand).
Then proceed with replacing the damper on the respective mount and subsequently install it back onto the vehicle, tightening the fixing pins carefully.
