Alternator Replacement on Ford Transit

Model: Ford Transit MK 7 - Years 2006-2014

On the Ford Transit, the battery is located behind the driver's seat: disconnect the negative terminal as shown in the video. Open the bonnet and place the support rod. Unscrew the bolt that tensions the belt and, once loosened, remove it. If it looks very worn, I recommend replacing it. Lift the front of the van with a jack and, working from underneath, unscrew the two lower bolts. Returning to the top of the bonnet, unscrew the fastening element that holds the alternator in place from above and finally remove it. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
