How to Replace the Alternator on a Ford Ka

Before you can start, open the front bonnet of your Ford Ka. Begin by loosening the tensioner of the auxiliary belt, then remove the belt itself that is connected to the alternator. Once done, unscrew and remove the screws securing the alternator, then remove the alternator itself, and you will have completed the disassembly. To install the new alternator and reassemble everything, simply follow these instructions in reverse. Once you have completed this step, you will have successfully completed the replacement.
