Removing Washer Reservoir Ford Focus MK2

If the washer jets aren’t dispensing enough liquid, it means the pump is working but cannot draw enough liquid, possibly due to a blockage in the filter located just upstream of the pump. If you habitually fill the reservoir with regular tap water, algae and limescale can form, blocking the filter and jets, and potentially damaging the pump. To remove the reservoir located under the front right wheel arch, you must first remove the wheel and the wheel arch lining to access the pump, which is secured with a rubber ring. After thorough cleaning, which can include using descaling solution, it is advisable to fill the reservoir with a suitable liquid that ensures better cleaning and prevents algae and limescale formation.
