How to Open the Bonnet of a Ford Ecosport

Want to perform maintenance on your car? Here’s how to unlock and lift the bonnet of a Ford Ecosport. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet slightly and pull the release lever to the left. Once the engine cover is unlocked, lift it upwards and secure it with the prop rod. Now that you have opened the engine cover, you can carry out maintenance on the car. Remove the prop rod and let the bonnet drop gently from a minimal height. Check to ensure the front bonnet is closed properly.
