In this video, we will see the steps to remove and replace the fuel filter on a Ford S-Max 2.0 TDCi, but also on the Galaxy and Ford Kuga with the same engine. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the plastic engine cover by unscrewing the screws; then disconnect the electrical connector of the fuel filter and unscrew the fixing screws of the outer cover. At this point, disconnect the fuel inlet and outlet pipes by pressing on the tabs, and unscrew the three side screws of the brackets; all that remains is to replace the filter and reassemble everything!
