Replacing the Battery on a Ford Kuga

Model: Ford Kuga C520, MK 2 - Years 2012-2019

Open the bonnet and support it with the prop rod. The battery compartment is located slightly above the engine bay, near the windscreen. Remove the black cover. Unfortunately, on this model, it is positioned in an area where simply removing the battery from its holder and placing the new one won't suffice; you will need to remove several other parts in this order: using an 8mm spanner, unscrew the screw of the pipe leading to the airbox, then remove it. Remove the plastic in front of the battery by unscrewing the two upper screws and disconnect the positive terminal, then the pipe positioned in front. Now you can finally remove the battery.
