How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Ford Fusion 1.4 TDCI

To replace the timing belt on a Ford Fusion 1.4 TDCI, open the bonnet to access the engine bay. Once the bonnet is open, remove the washer fluid reservoir by loosening its mounting bolts. This will allow access to the side cover of the engine, which must be removed after loosening its mounting bolts. Once the cover is removed, you can access the pulleys. By loosening the tensioner, the belt can be slipped off and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, reinstall all previously removed parts.
