This guide shows how to replace the battery in the Ford C-Max Energi. First, open the boot and remove the finishing panel from the battery housing.

Using a Torx T25 screwdriver, unscrew the four screws securing the outer panel of the battery housing. With the battery compartment access door open, unscrew the 10mm bolt and remove the plastic cover.

Next, remove the front panel of the battery compartment by unscrewing the securing screws. Disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal, and disconnect the sensor bolt before removing the terminal.

Remove the battery retaining bracket. Detach the ventilation duct from the battery compartment to allow the battery to be removed.

Install the new battery in reverse order.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
