How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Transit

Resetting the oil service light allows you to remove this warning in a few seconds without directly intervening on the vehicle's engine. To begin, leave the engine off and turn on the ignition only. At this point, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously. A message will appear on the dashboard display indicating that the reset is in progress. Keep the pedals pressed until the message disappears. Once the reset is complete, you can release both pedals and turn off the ignition. If there is an error or the reset is unsuccessful, you can repeat the operation.
