How to Reset the Oil Change Light on a Ford Escape?

To reset the Oil Change light on a Ford Escape, enter the cabin and press the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously. While holding these pedals down, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to the ON position to activate the instrument cluster.

Continue holding the pedals until a message appears on the display confirming the reset of the light. To verify that this has been done correctly, turn the key to the OFF position and then back to ON to check the instrument cluster.
