How to Remove the Instrument Cluster in the Ford Escape?

Model: Ford Escape MK 1 - Years 2001-2007

As we can see in this tutorial, removing the instrument cluster in the Ford Explorer is a very simple and quick operation. First, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and wait about 30 minutes. Then, go inside the cabin and, using a 7mm socket wrench, remove the two screws located on the top side of the dashboard. Once this is done, remove the trim and unscrew the additional 4 screws using the same wrench. At this point, you can pull the instrument cluster out of the dashboard, disconnect the rear connector, and install the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
