How to Change the Water Pump

Changing the water pump on your car can be a slightly complicated task, but with a bit of good will and effort, it can be done. Each step must be carried out with utmost care to avoid causing internal damage to the car. The water pump is located at the front of the car, so open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover blocking the air filter. After this step, remove the cover that secures the belt and lock the toothed flywheel, then release the tensioner bearing. At this point, you can extract the water pump by removing the four screws present.
