How to Replace the Air Filter on the Ford Fusion North America

To replace the air filter, follow these steps: open the hood and locate the cover of the air filter housing, approximately in the center of the engine bay. The cover is secured with four screws at the corners; use a wrench to remove them. This will give you access to the compartment containing the air filter. Pull the filter out of the housing and take the new filter. Always verify that the filter type is suitable for your vehicle. Place the new filter in the compartment and reposition the cover, tightening the four screws again.
