In this guide, you will learn how to replace the timing belt on the Ford Focus 1.6. First, lift the car on a ramp and then proceed to drain the coolant as shown in the video. Next, remove the right front wheel and the various covers. Now lower the car from the ramp and begin to remove the various parts that obstruct access to the timing compartment: windscreen washer reservoir, coolant reservoir, injector manifold, cylinder head cover, and cylinder head until you reach the timing area. Now loosen the tensioner as shown in the video and slide off the old belt. After this, proceed to replace it with the new belt and repeat all operations in reverse.
