This guide shows how to replace the seat belt tensioner for the passenger seat of the Ford F150 MK13. The first step is to lift the protective plastic piece over the bolt of the seat belt retractor and remove the plastic trim from the edges of the rear and front passenger doors. Remove the lower seat belt latch from the lower trim piece. At this point, you need to remove the T50 bolt securing the upper retractor and the two 15 mm bolts at the bottom of the belt. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the piece. Install the new replacement part and tighten everything in place. Check the proper operation of the piece.
