If you notice a drop in battery efficiency in your vehicle, follow the steps below for a proper replacement. Once you open the bonnet, start by disconnecting the negative terminal, then disconnect the positive terminal. Use a spanner to undo the bolts securing the upper crossmember. At this point, you can remove the battery and replace it with the new one. Reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, and finally tighten the bolts of the crossmember.
