To replace the battery in a Ford Explorer, open the bonnet and access the engine bay, as the battery is located on the right side. Disconnect the appropriate cables connected to the battery and remove the bolts that secure it in its housing.

This way, you can grasp the battery handles and lift it out, replacing it with a new part. The new battery should then be connected to the cables and secured with its designated fixing bolts.
