Accessing the Spare Tire of a 2008 Ford Escape

The video shows how to access the spare tire of a 2008 Ford Escape. This is a very simple operation that can be done easily by yourself at any time. Open the rear hood and remove the movable mat to access the tools, which are secured by a plastic clip. Release it to extract the tools. Insert the lug wrench into the receiver and the jack handle into the slot located in the middle of the lug wrench to leverage. Turn everything counterclockwise to lower the spare tire, which is connected by a cable via a hook. Disconnect it and finally check the pressure, which should be 60 psi, as indicated on the tire's sidewall.
