Cylinder Head Gasket Replacement

After machining the cylinder head, check for any deformations and the perfect flatness of the surface using a straight edge and a feeler gauge; repeat the same check on the cylinder block. Clean the threads of the head fixing holes, ensuring no debris ends up in the cylinders. Insert the alignment dowels, place the new head gasket, and then the cylinder head itself using a new kit of bolts for fastening; apply grease to the bottom of the threads and under the head and proceed with tightening in a cross pattern, first using the torque wrench and then the graduated wrench.
