How to remove the passenger seat from a Ford Transit

Model: Ford Transit MK 7 - Years 2006-2014

To remove the passenger seat, you will need a pneumatic gun for quicker work; if you do not have one, use a half-inch ratchet with a 15mm socket and an extension, a T50 Torx, and a torch. First, remove the seatbelt bracket: lift the seat tilt lever and remove the cover by working on the clips; once the cover is removed, there is a screw to unscrew with a T50 Torx and take the seatbelt out of the lever. After removing the seatbelt, there are 4 bolts holding the seat; first, slide the seat back and remove the two front bolts at the lower corners of the bracket using the ratchet, extension, and 15mm socket. Once the front bolts are removed, slide the seat forward and unscrew the other 2 bolts at the corners of the bracket. Now you can remove the seat along with the lower bracket. It is necessary to lubricate the bolts before reinserting them into the holes. To reinstall the seat, simply position it over the prepared holes and screw in the 2 front bolts and the 2 rear bolts at the corners of the seat bracket using the ratchet, 15mm socket, and extension. Reattach the seatbelt by passing it through the lever that tilts the seat, screwing in the lower screw with the Torx key, reattach the snap-on cover, and reposition the seat back.
