When regenerating the cylinder head with machining, grinding valve seats, replacing valve guide seals and gaskets, it is always advisable to use a new kit of pins for fixing the cylinder head. Start by cleaning the threads of the fixing holes on the cylinder block, ensuring that no debris ends up in the cylinders; then apply copper grease to the bottom of the threads and just below the head, and use them to secure the cylinder head following a cross pattern and using a torque wrench and a standard spanner.
