Replacing the Rocker Cover Gasket

Before applying the new gasket to the rocker cover, it is essential to clean the gasket seating, both on the cover side and the cylinder head side, from any dirt and debris that could compromise the gasket's adhesion and seal. Once cleaned, without applying gasket sealant, align the new gasket to the perimeter of the cover and position it on the cylinder head, then tighten the respective fixing bolts, ensuring that the gasket does not protrude from its seating but remains aligned with the edges.
