Replacing the Rocker Cover Gasket

Before applying the new rocker cover gasket, clean the gasket seating thoroughly, both on the cylinder head side and the cover side, removing any dirt and deposits that could compromise the gasket's sealing. Insert the new gasket into the designated groove under the cover, apply gasket sealant to the two radiused ends of the camshaft, position the cover, and tighten the respective fixing bolts ensuring the gasket does not protrude from its seating. Wait for the sealant to dry before starting the engine.
