Cylinder Head Gasket Replacement

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 4, Be91, MK 4, MK IV - Years 1996-2002

Start by checking for any warping of the cylinder head using a straight edge and a feeler gauge for the valves and valve lift; lubricate and insert the camshaft oil seal with the lip facing inwards; install the timing belt pulley; apply the new gasket and install the exhaust manifold; check the cylinder block surface again with the straight edge and feeler gauge; re-tap the threads of the cylinder head mounting holes and check for piston interference; then position the new gasket and the cylinder head, securing it with a new set of bolts tightened with a torque wrench; finally, install the rocker cover with the new gasket.
