Therefore, it is essential to keep the engine off for the entire duration of the operation and ensure that its temperature is sufficiently low. Once done, lift the vehicle with a suitable jack and locate the oil sump at the bottom of the engine compartment. Position a suitable container and unscrew the plug. Allow all used oil to drain out and then refit the plug. Next, locate the oil filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, pour the new oil into the respective reservoir in the engine compartment.
