How to Replace the Oil Filter and Oil on a Ford Fiesta

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 6, MK 6, MK VI - Years 2008-2017

In this video, we will see how to replace the oil filter and the oil itself: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it (lift the car with a jack or column lift if necessary). Using a socket, unscrew the large bolt of the oil filter. Remove the worn oil filter, unscrew the drain bolt from the oil sump (allow the used oil to drain into a container), and then re-tighten it. Install a new filter in the appropriate location. Finally, top up the engine oil. Close the front bonnet last.
