This guide shows how to replace the diesel filter of the Ford Fiesta Mk5 1.4 TDCi. The first step is to open the bonnet and remove the air filter cover. At this point, you can access the fuel filter.

Remove the protective cover of the filter and disconnect the fuel lines and the electrical connector. Remove the part after unscrewing the retaining screws of the filter.

Replace it with a new unit and refit everything in position. Start the vehicle for a few minutes to check proper operation.
