- Years 2014-2023 Today we are going to explain how to quickly reset the engine oil warning light on your Ford Transit. First, make sure you have closed all the vehicle doors securely and that you have switched off the engine. Immediately afterwards, hold down both the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal at the same time and insert the key. Turn on the ignition and release the two pedals only after the loading bar shows the message confirming the reset. At this point the reset operations are finished and you can safely turn off the ignition. From the next start there will be no more warning lights.
