To remove the gearbox from a Ford Transit, you need to lift the vehicle to gain access to the components underneath the engine bay. Here, you will locate the clutch cover, which must be opened by unscrewing the screws that secure it. Once opened, you can remove the clutch and subsequently the gearbox. The gearbox can be removed by unscrewing the screws that hold it to the respective mounts, also disconnecting connectors and cables. This way, you will be able to install the new replacement parts.
