Replacing the glove compartment light in the Ford Focus is a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the key is not in the ignition.

Start by opening and emptying the glove compartment, then unscrew the indicated screws located on the upper edge. Next, grasp the frame, pull it slightly downwards, and locate the back of the light, where there is a retaining clip to release using a flat-head screwdriver.

Once done, you can remove the bulb, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything.
