Want to remove the glove box in your car's dashboard? Here’s how to disassemble the glove box on a Ford Focus. Open the glove compartment and locate the fastening screws to be removed. Unscrew the fastening screws located on the sides of the glove box inside the dashboard (use the appropriate inserts). Once this is done, slide the glove box towards yourself to remove it from the dashboard. To completely remove the glove box, disconnect the electrical connector that powers the courtesy light.
