How to Replace the Engine Air Filter on Ford F-250 [USA]

Model: Ford F-250 P473 - Years 2011-2016

To replace the engine air filter, open the hood and locate the cover that contains the filter on the upper right side of the engine compartment. To open the cover, loosen the hose clamp on the air outlet from the filter. At this point, remove the hose to free the cover, lift the cover, and take it out to access the filter housing. Remove the filter and replace it with a new one (identify the specifications for the appropriate filter type for your engine), position the new filter after cleaning the housing, and reposition the cover. Finally, reinsert the air hose and tighten the hose clamp again. Close the hood.
