Replacing Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

The accelerator pedal position sensor is integrated into the pedal itself, and to replace it, you need to change the entire pedal: the replacement is very simple as the pedal is secured to the base of the footrest with a nut; therefore, unscrew the fastening nut of the accelerator pedal, pull it out from its seat, and disconnect the connector attached to the sensor; then proceed in reverse for installation. In many cases, it is also sufficient to clean the sensor with contact spray as the malfunction may be caused by dirt contamination present on the mat.
