- Years 2008-2017 In order to replace the Ford Fiesta spark plugs, you need to open the hood, in order to identify the coils located in the upper part of the engine block, immediately under the windshield. By removing the coils from inside their housing, it will be possible to identify the spark plugs below: the latter can be removed from their housing using a special socket wrench. After the old candle has been removed, it will be possible to insert the new one, placing the corresponding coil on it; then you will have to start the engine to check that everything is working properly.
