How to reset the oil light on a Ford Ranger

This brief video tutorial shows how to reset the engine oil maintenance light on a Ford Ranger. This operation should be performed after every service and is very simple and quick. First, with the engine off, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously, then turn on the instrument cluster without starting the vehicle. Now, press and hold both pedals down until the service light starts to flash. Keep the pedals pressed until the light goes out, then turn off the vehicle to complete the reset.
