To perform this maintenance, it is essential that the engine is cold; therefore, remove the plastic cover on top of the engine to access the spark plug seats, then pull out the leads by lifting them upwards; before unscrewing the spark plugs, it is advisable to blow into the respective seats to remove any dirt that could fall into the cylinders; after cleaning, unscrew the spark plugs and remove them to fit the new ones (ensure compatibility by comparing the codes) without exceeding the torque specifications. Before repositioning the leads, it is recommended to clean them inside with contact spray.
