Operation: How to replace the battery in a Ford Ecosport

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery of a Ford Ecosport car. First we unlock the bonnet, lift it and fix it in a safe position using the special rod. At this point we will have access to the engine compartment and therefore to the battery. To be able to remove the battery we will first have to remove the plastic cover placed above it, we will be able to do it using a socket wrench to unscrew the fixing nuts. Once the cover has been removed, we also remove the fixing nuts of the protection bar located above the battery; at this point, having removed the bar, we can unscrew the fixing data of the terminals and first disconnect the terminal with the negative pole and then the one with the positive pole. Then proceed to extract the battery and replace it by inserting the new battery in the compartment and connecting the positive terminal first and then the negative one. Finally we fix the blocking bar by screwing the nuts removed previously and put the plastic cover back.
