How to Replace the Battery in a Ford Ecosport

In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the battery in a Ford Ecosport. First, unlock the bonnet, lift it, and secure it in place using the prop rod. You will now have access to the engine bay and the battery. To remove the battery, first take off the plastic cover located above it by using a socket spanner to unscrew the securing nuts. Once the cover is removed, proceed to unscrew the nuts securing the protective bar above the battery; with the bar removed, unscrew the nuts securing the terminals and disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Next, extract the battery and replace it by inserting the new battery into the designated space, connecting the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal. Finally, secure the locking bar by tightening the previously removed nuts and replace the plastic cover.
