Ford Focus - Video tutorial
Model: Ford Focus
MK 2, Focus 2
- Years 2004-2011 In order to replace the starter motor of the Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi, you need to open the bonnet, so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: on the right side of the latter there will be the battery, which must be removed from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the power cables. Once the battery has been removed, the starter motor can be identified underneath, between the engine block and the transmission. By unscrewing the screws that fix it to its supports and disconnecting the power cables, the device can be removed and replaced with a new spare part.
