In this new mini guide for all Ford F-150 owners (model years 2015-2020), you will learn how to correctly replace the button battery in the smart remote. First, remove the physical emergency key from its side slot. Next, use a standard flathead screwdriver to easily detach the back cover of the key. Locate the dead battery and replace it with a new one (model CR2032). Finally, reattach the back cover of the key and reposition the emergency key.
