If your 2012 Ford F-150 key is not working anymore and you want to learn how to replace the battery inside, just follow the steps below. First, take your key and remove the back cover using a standard flathead screwdriver. Once done, remove the protective plastic covering the battery and proceed to replace it. Make sure to insert a new compatible battery (model CR 2032). Finally, reassemble the back cover and you are finished.
