As shown in this tutorial, replacing the remote battery of the Ford C-MAX is an extremely simple and quick task. You will need a replacement CR2032 battery and a small flat screwdriver. First, press the two side buttons, then unlock the rear cover and remove the emergency metal key. Once done, use the screwdriver in the indicated slot to separate the two halves of the remote and remove the old battery. Finally, place the new battery in the correct orientation and reassemble the remote.
