In this video tutorial we can see how to reset the service oil light on Ford Focus Mk3. The first thing to do will be to carry out maintenance on the car, such as changing the engine oil and filters. Let's get inside the car, close all the doors including the trunk and the front bonnet, because otherwise the procedure might not be successful. We put the handbrake, press the start button to turn on the instrument cluster; the message ( CHANGE ENGINE OIL and the spanner and the oil bottle) appear on the display; now press the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal at the same time and "Service Oil reset in prog." will appear on the display; we wait about twenty seconds with our foot on the pedals and then we have performed the reset and the message "Reset complete" appears. We can now release the pedals. Turn off the ignition and wait two minutes then turn on the ignition to verify the correct reset.
