After lifting the bonnet and securing it safely, first remove the box containing the air filter, then connect the negative terminal followed by the positive terminal of the battery. Remove the battery from the engine bay and take out the new one. Then, reconnect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal, and finally reposition and secure the box containing the air filter.
