Turbocharger Disassembly Instructions

On this car model, disassembling the turbocharger is quite straightforward as it is located at the front of the engine; ensure the engine is cold before starting. Open the bonnet using the ignition key in the lock at the manufacturer's emblem. Disconnect the hose connecting the compressor to the engine air filter box and the one from the compressor to the intake duct: the presence of oil in these pipes is a clear sign of turbocharger failure, as evidenced by the significant wear on the turbine blades. Remove the heat shield, disconnect the turbocharger from the exhaust gas pipe, dismantle the lubrication pipe, and finally remove the bolts securing the turbocharger to the exhaust manifold.
