Removing the Fuel Filler Pipe

The pipe connecting the fuel cap to the tank runs behind the wheel arch and can deteriorate over time due to corrosion; to replace it, lift the vehicle and remove the right rear wheel (passenger side), then take off the wheel arch liner by releasing the retaining clips; once you reach the pipe, unscrew the fixing bolts of the support brackets and finally open the fuel cap door to unscrew the screws securing the flange of the cap itself and remove the door complete with the internal rubber lining: at this point, the pipe can be removed.
