How to Replace the Pollen Filter on a Ford Focus

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the cabin filter on a Ford Focus by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to purchase a new pollen filter; the next step is to get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. The cabin filter on this vehicle is located under the dashboard on the passenger side; at this point, remove the plastic tabs that secure the cover under the glove compartment. Once the cover is removed, to take out the cabin filter, disconnect the two electrical connectors from the fuse box by lifting the securing levers; now you can pull the filter out to remove it. After removing the old filter, replace it with the new one, positioning it according to the arrows on the filter itself.
