How to Reset the START&STOP System on a Ford

Resetting the START&STOP system on Ford models is more or less the same for all new generation models. The reset process is very simple; just hold down the START&STOP button for about 10 seconds until the instrument cluster display turns off. After that, you can release the button and wait a few seconds before starting the engine again. These steps should restore the start and stop system to normal operation. If the problem persists, you will need to visit an authorised workshop for a more thorough diagnosis.
