How to reset the ECU on the Ford Focus?

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

To reset the ECU on the Ford Focus, open the bonnet to access the engine compartment: on the right side, you will find the battery. The two terminals will be connected: disconnect the negative terminal by removing the cable with the red end. Once this cable is removed, wait a few minutes for the reset to complete; then reconnect the negative terminal to verify that the reset has been successful.
